Role Overview
We are looking for a data-driven HR Manager to lead end-to-end people operations in a fast-growing e-commerce environment. The role will act as a strategic HR Business Partner while owning payroll, talent management, recruitment, and HR operations, ensuring scalability, compliance, and a strong employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Business Partnering (HRBP):
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders across functions
- Drive workforce planning, org design, and role clarity
- Support managers on performance management, engagement, and employee relations
- Translate business goals into people strategies
2. Data-Driven HR & Analytics
- Track and analyze HR metrics (attrition, hiring TAT, engagement, productivity)
- Build dashboards and insights to support leadership decisions
- Use data to improve talent outcomes and employee experience
- Present actionable HR insights to senior leadership
3. Payroll & Compliance
- Own end-to-end payroll processing in coordination with finance/vendor
- Ensure accuracy in payroll inputs, revisions, and statutory deductions
- Manage statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, labour laws)
- Handle audits, payroll reconciliations, and compliance reporting
4. Talent Acquisition (TA)
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate, tech, operations, and supply chain roles
- Build strong sourcing strategies suited for e-commerce scale
- Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and hiring decisions
- Optimize recruitment metrics (cost, time, quality of hire)
5. Talent Management & Performance
- Drive performance management cycles (goal setting, reviews, appraisals)
- Support career progression, internal mobility, and succession planning
- Identify high-potential talent and development needs
- Implement learning and development initiatives
6. HR Operations & Administration
- Oversee employee lifecycle management (onboarding to exit)
- Manage HRMS, employee records, letters, and documentation
- Handle admin functions including vendor management, facilities coordination, and policy implementation
- Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced environment
7. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and execute engagement initiatives
- Drive communication, feedback mechanisms, and pulse surveys
- Promote a strong, inclusive, and performance-driven culture
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees
Required Skills & Experience
- 6-10 years of HR experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, startups, or tech
- Strong experience in HRBP, payroll, and talent management
- Hands-on knowledge of HRMS tools (Keka, Darwinbox, Workday, etc.)
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling organization
