As we grow our BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) practice, we're looking for a seasoned PR Account Director to join our dynamic team in Mumbai.

Role Overview

As the Account Director BFSI, you will lead strategic communication initiatives for a portfolio of high-profile BFSI clients, including banks, NBFCs, fintech firms, and insurance companies.

You will be responsible for end-to-end client servicing, media strategy, team leadership, and business growth within the sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the senior point of contact for BFSI clients, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality PR solutions.

- Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with client objectives and BFSI industry trends.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with financial and business media across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.

- Lead the development of compelling content, including press releases, thought leadership articles, op-eds, Q&As, and crisis communication responses.

- Drive account planning, execution, and review processes while ensuring timely reporting and measurable results.

- Manage and mentor a team of PR professionals, ensuring skill development and performance excellence.

- Contribute to business development through ideation, proposals, and pitching for new BFSI clients.

- Monitor the financial PR landscape for issues, opportunities, and innovations that could benefit clients.

Desired Skills & Experience

- 812 years of experience in Public Relations, with a strong focus on BFSI clients.

- Proven media relations experience with top-tier business and financial journalists.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong understanding of BFSI regulations, markets, investor relations, and corporate reputation management.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to craft and implement high-impact communication plans.

- Team management experience with an ability to motivate and lead.

- Crisis communication and issue management expertise is a plus.
