Position Title : Deputy General Manager - Business Operations.

Location : Gurgaon.

Reports to : BU Head - Enterprise Business Unit.

Position Summary:

- We are seeking a highly accomplished Business Operations Leader with over 20 years of experience in driving operational excellence, OEM relationship management, and large-scale team leadership in product-based enterprise businesses.

- This role will be responsible for end-to-end operations management, ensuring productivity, profitability, and seamless coordination between business units, vendors, OEMs, and cross-functional teams.

- The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, a proven record in managing product-based operations (including serial number tracking, packaging, inventory, and turnaround times), and expertise in audit, compliance, and MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

- Oversee and manage enterprise business operations, ensuring achievement of monthly and annual operating goals in close collaboration with BU Head.

- Lead large teams (150-250+ members) across multiple locations, delivering on KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics.

OEM & Vendor Management:.

- Maintain strong working relationships with OEM partners, ensuring adherence to TATs, order accuracy, and post-sales service expectations.

- Handle product lifecycle requirements including PR to delivery, packaging, serial number tracking, and product-based service support.

Inventory & Logistics Coordination:.

- Collaborate with inventory managers to ensure optimal stock utilization, accurate inventory data, and timely global shipments.

- Manage internal stock transfers, returns, reconciliation, and resolution of short supply, wrong supply, and damage issues.

- Monitor and report stock aging, backlog, and pending billing status to vertical heads and regions.

Process & Compliance Management:.

- Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes, ensuring alignment with OEM expectations and internal SOPs.

- Drive compliance with audit standards, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.

- Address pricing, DA/OC approvals, CIF calculations, and other commercial approvals in coordination with finance.

Strategic Planning & MIS Reporting:

- Provide operational insights and recommendations for strategic plans, budgets, and productivity improvement initiatives.

- Prepare and maintain accurate MIS reports for OEMs and internal stakeholders, tracking operational performance and trends.

Team Development & Leadership:.

- Recruit, train, and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture with strong work ethics and result orientation.

- Coordinate with HR for manpower planning, training needs, and performance evaluation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Operations Management - Enterprise/product-based business.

- OEM Coordination - Managing expectations, order processing, and post-sales service.

- P&L & Financial Acumen - Strong understanding of budgets, costs, and revenue impact.

- Inventory & Logistics Management - Stock planning, reconciliation, and shipment handling.

- Audit & Compliance - Ensuring adherence to internal and external standards.

- MIS & Reporting - Data analysis, dashboards, and KPI tracking.

- People Leadership - Handling teams of 150-250+, including city managers, TLs, and field staff.

- Process Improvement - Streamlining workflows and enhancing customer experience.

- Cross-functional Collaboration - Working with finance, logistics, purchase, and sales teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate (B.Com preferred) with Post-Graduation (MBA desirable).

- 20+ years of progressive experience in operations, with significant exposure to product-based enterprise business.

- Proven track record in OEM relationship management, inventory control, and cross-functional leadership.

- Strong communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.

- Deadline-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a go-getter attitude.

- Preferred Industry Background.

- Enterprise Product Business (Telecom, IT Hardware, Networking, Electronics).

- Data Digitization & Annotation Services (as part of operational exposure).

- Logistics, Distribution, and Product Lifecycle Management.
