Compliance Manager - NBFC
Job Description:
- Ensuring that the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws, RBI guidelines, and internal policies. The role requires deep knowledge of NBFC regulations, proactive risk identification, and timely regulatory reporting. The position will also support business teams by embedding compliance into day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest standards of governance.

Description:
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, Companies Act, FEMA, PMLA, SEBI, and other applicable laws for NBFCs.
- Monitor changes in regulations and implement required policy/procedure updates.
- Prepare and file statutory returns (RBI, MCA, FIU, etc.) within timelines.
- Manage regulatory inspections, audits, and liaise with RBI and statutory bodies.
Internal Compliance & Governance:
- Draft, review, and update compliance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments across business functions.
- Ensure compliance in areas like KYC/AML, fair lending practices, credit monitoring, and outsourcing guidelines.
- Oversee company secretarial compliances (Board/Committee meetings, filings, resolutions).
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Develop compliance dashboards and reports for senior management and the Board.
- Highlight compliance risks and provide corrective action plans.
- Support the design and monitoring of internal audits and risk management frameworks.
Profile:
- Strong knowledge of NBFC regulatory framework, PMLA, KYC/AML, FEMA, Companies Act.
- Good understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
