We're Hiring: Compliance Lead - VAT & WHT - GCC Region - Leading Retail Firm.
Location: Ahmedabad.
Qualification: CA Qualified.
Experience: 5 - 9 Years.
Mandatory: GCC Tax - Global Tax Experience.
Preferred Industry: Retail - FMCG - Apparel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage GCC VAT & WHT compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Handle tax filings, audits, reconciliations, and tax controls.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GCC VAT laws and WHT regulations.
- Work on tax-related matters across Retail - FMCG - Apparel business environments.
- Leverage SAP - Oracle - Dynamics or other ERP systems for tax compliance and reporting.
- Interpret complex tax regulations and ensure their practical implementation.
- Perform detailed tax reconciliations and analytical reviews.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on tax audits and compliance matters.
- Maintain strong documentation, controls, and compliance standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- CA Qualified.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- GCC Tax - Global Tax exposure is mandatory.
- Strong VAT & WHT knowledge.
- Excellent analytical, communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset.
