About the Opportunity:

- We are hiring a senior Compliance Leader for a well-established investment management platform with ambitious growth plans across regulated businesses. This is a confidential search, and discussions will be conducted strictly on a closed-door basis.

- The role will lead the compliance function end-to-end, working closely with senior leadership and regulators, and will play a critical role in shaping governance as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and own the compliance function across regulated investment products (PMS / AIF / MF or similar)

- Act as the primary point of contact with SEBI and other regulatory bodies

- Drive regulatory strategy, compliance frameworks, policies, and SOPs

- Oversee regulatory filings, disclosures, inspections, and audits

- Provide advisory support to leadership on new products, structures, and regulatory risk

- Ensure strong AML, PMLA, Insider Trading, and KYC controls

- Build and mentor a high-performing compliance team

- Embed a strong culture of governance and ethical conduct across the organization

Candidate Profile

- 15-20+ years of experience in SEBI-regulated environments

- Strong exposure to PMS / AIF / Mutual Fund / Asset Management compliance

- Prior experience interacting with regulators and handling inspections

- Deep understanding of SEBI regulations, Companies Act, AML/PMLA, and governance frameworks

- Ability to operate independently while partnering closely with business teams

- Strong drafting, interpretational, and stakeholder management skills
