Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Compliance Manager for our Global Generics - India Sub-continent business. You will be involved in the creation, implementation, monitoring and effective compliance by the business stakeholders to key compliance polices as applicable to the marketing, promotional, sales and other commercial activities in GG India BU. This position will work closely with other compliance team members and support initiatives from various subject matter experts and stakeholders in the legal, finance departments.

Roles & Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for advising business stakeholders on carrying out business activities as per Dr Reddy's policies and the GG India SOPs and supporting other functions like Finance, HR etc in the same

- You will be responsible for reviewing and approving marketing plans, HCP engagements and other material submitted to the compliance team's pre-clearance through m-Hub/LMRC and our ARF systems

- You will be responsible for conducting in-depth root cause analysis, identification of processes and controls which are working and not working and suggesting corrective and preventive actions. You will also work along side the Ombuds team in implementing their CAPAs and in upgrading processes and systems to prevent repetition of like issues in future

- You will be responsible for participating in the training, communication, and sensitization of the aspects of Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (COBE), GGI Marketing Code and other key compliance policies

- You will be responsible for implementation of UCPMP/similar guidelines in the day-to-day conduct of business and preparing and presenting of key findings for senior management

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Lawyer or chartered accountant

Minimum work experience: 7-12 years in a compliance-related role, with a focus on policy writing, compliance advisory and CAPA management in pharmaceutical organisation.

Technical Skills:

- Demonstrated understanding of the general pharmaceutical business, showcasing knowledge of industry dynamics, trends, and challenges

- Strong proficiency in drafting policies & SOPs

- Extensive experience in monitoring and in scrutiny of documents and records

- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

- Demonstrated expertise in compliance management and advising on pharma marketing and UCPMP

- Proven track record in corporate compliance and implementing effective compliance programs

Behavioural skills:

- Strong written and oral communication abilities, facilitating effective expression of ideas

- Demonstrates analytical thinking, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making

- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of business requirements simultaneously

- Approaches tasks with a positive "can-do" attitude, demonstrating optimism and a solution-oriented mind set

- Effective people management skills with colleagues and clients, fostering positive relationships

- Competence in operating effectively within a diverse and complex matrix organization
