- We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance & Back Office Analyst to join our dynamic and high-performance team.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in compliance and operational functions within equity and derivatives markets, with experience in US equity and options markets being highly desirable.
- This is a remote role offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work on high-impact global projects in a fast-paced fintech environment.
- Work Hours: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST (Flexibility Required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily compliance and back-office operations for Oceanus Securities
- Execute compliance tasks accurately and on time, following regulatory and internal guidelines
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure thorough and up-to-date documentation
- Perform data reconciliation, reporting, and regulatory filings
- Identify and resolve compliance and operational issues proactively
- Stay updated on applicable regulations across securities markets, especially in equities and derivatives
- Assist with audits and ensure timely delivery of compliance-related documentation
Manage and update:
- Internal Wiki documentation
- Compliance tasks and schedules
- Client onboarding and documentation
- Venue rates and matrix information
- Forecasting and project tracking
- Prepare and distribute client-specific reports (e. , TCA reports)
- Create and manage Jira tickets for client/project requests
- Support project management for Oceanus-related initiatives
- Prepare daily P&L and month-end cumulative activity reports
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-7 years of experience in compliance and/or back-office operations (compliance experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of equity and derivatives market operations
- Experience with US equity and options markets is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Indian equity and derivatives markets is also acceptable
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a high-performance, time-sensitive environment
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with FINRA-regulated Institutional Equities Brokerage is required
