Role Overview:
The Branch People Lead - North role is a critical leadership position responsible for driving the people strategy and ensuring effective HR operations across Compass India Support Services' North India branches. This role acts as a strategic HR Business Partner, working closely with branch leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives. The Branch People Lead is responsible for fostering a positive employee experience, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance, and driving talent development initiatives to support the growth and success of the organization in the North region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with branch leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals, improve employee engagement, and drive organizational performance.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all employees.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring consistent application and compliance across the region.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including investigating and resolving employee grievances, conducting disciplinary actions, and promoting a fair and respectful work environment.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices and effective benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities, support career growth, and improve organizational performance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate employee records and managing HR audits.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and recognition programs, to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified talent to meet business needs.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR programs, and make data-driven decisions to improve HR outcomes.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational performance.
- Proven expertise in managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, with the ability to provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Excellent employee relations skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve employee grievances, conduct disciplinary actions, and promote a fair and respectful work environment.
- In-depth understanding of compensation and benefits administration, with the ability to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices and effective benefits programs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
