We are currently retained by a leading FMCG company to hire an experienced Company Secretary.
The role calls for a seasoned governance professional who can confidently oversee all corporate secretarial and compliance activities in a complex business environment.
This role will be responsible for driving the companys compliance framework, ensuring smooth conduct of board and shareholder processes, and maintaining high standards of governance across the organization. This is a strategic position working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage board, committee, and shareholder proceedings in line with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee statutory filings, regulatory submissions, and maintenance of secretarial records.
- Act as the liaison with key external bodies and regulatory authorities.
- Contribute to corporate governance initiatives and ensure adherence to internal policies and statutory norms.
- Support leadership on capital restructuring, corporate actions, and public listing-related processes.
- Partner with auditors and legal advisors for compliance reviews and reporting.
To fit the bill you must have:
- Company Secretary with 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial and compliance functions.
- Strong working knowledge of SEBI, Companies Act, and other applicable corporate laws.
- Worked on an IPO Journey or worked in listed entity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Confident in managing multiple priorities and engaging with senior management.
