Position Overview:
RxBenefits seeks a dynamic Communications Manager to lead communications for our growing. Global Collaboration Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. The role will be based in Hyderabad and will oversee all internal and external communications, including employee communications and engagement, executive communications, event management, social media, media relations, and content creation.
This role demands initiative, urgency, and accountability, with the ability to pivot seamlessly between projects while meeting deadlines.
The Communications Manager will identify and execute communications, content, and storytelling needs, supporting overall company goals through strong collaboration and relationship-building.
This role will report to the Associate Director of Operations in Hyderabad, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Director of Internal Communications in the United States to ensure alignment with RxBenefits corporate brand and communications strategies.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an integrated communications strategy for the GCC team and office, inclusive of all internal and external communications for the GCC team.
- Write, edit, and distribute internal communications such as emails, newsletters, talking points, HR updates, intranet stories, blogs, videos, etc.
- Partner with GCC site lead on executive communications, including talking points and presentations.
- Coordinate local communications events, such as town halls, employee meetings, and virtual events with RxBenefits colleagues in the United States.
- Coordinate closely with Corporate Communications to cascade corporate messages to the GCC team, personalizing and editing as needed for local audience needs.
- Manage local social media, including LinkedIn profile and content strategy, and any other relevant local social media platforms.
- Manage local external communications, including media relations and partnering with HR on recruitment activities.
- Creative storytelling for both internal and external audiences, across different channels.
- Share employee news, stories, and photos with the Corporate Communications team for inclusion in company-wide communications, as appropriate.
- Ensure alignment with corporate brand, messaging, style guidelines, and best practices.
- Track metrics for insights and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Canva, Outlook, and Teams.
- Proficiency in social media tools, especially LinkedIn.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, digital advertising channels, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Creative, corporate, and business writing.
- Creative thinking.
- Executive presence.
- Event planning and management, including in-person town halls and virtual events.
- Excellent project management skills.
- English language proficiency.
- Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style.
Qualifications:
- Post graduation Degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in communications.
- Pharmacy or health insurance industry experience preferred.
- Ability to create compelling content for different audiences and across different channels.
- Ability to both think strategically and own tactical delivery of communications.
- Ability to work non-standard business hours [need to work with HR on work schedule and expectations].
