Commercial Operations Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - CA

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

- Prepare and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure working capital availability and timely vendor payouts.

- Produce and maintain category-level and overall P&L statements, track margins, and perform variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews in collaboration with finance and commercial teams.

SOP Development & Process Governance

- Design, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for vendor onboarding, pricing approvals, payments cycles, escalations, and financial controls.

- Drive continuous improvement; identify process gaps and implement solutions to reduce error rates and shorten cycle times.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Manage vendor financial relationships, including onboarding, contract terms, SLA compliance, and invoice reconciliation.

- Collaborate closely with vendors, merchandising, operations, and finance teams to optimize vendor performance and resolve financial discrepancies.

Analytics, MIS & Business Insight

- Develop and maintain dashboards and MIS tools, using BI platforms, Excel, SQL, or ERP systems, to track cash flow, vendor spend, category profitability, and operational KPIs.

- Provide regular financial insights and variance reports to commercial, finance, and leadership teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Governance

- Align with merchandising, finance, supply chain, customer support, and IT to ensure coordinated execution of commercial and financial plans.

- Lead regular governance reviews, training sessions, and financial audits to ensure process compliance and scalability.
