About the Company:

A leading consumer-focused organization operating in a highly regulated, high-volume distribution environment. The company has a strong market presence and is focused on strengthening its commercial finance and sales accounting capabilities to drive profitability, control, and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Own and drive the Commercial / Sales Accounting function as a high-impact individual contributor role.

- Design and implement systems, policies, and internal controls across sales and trade finance operations.

- Manage trade settlements, discount controls, and sales compliance frameworks.

- Drive commercial MIS, reporting, and variance analysis to track performance and identify improvement areas.

- Oversee dealer reconciliation, credit control, and inventory management across regions.

- Monitor collections, overdue tracking, and recovery plans, ensuring strong working capital discipline.

- Prepare and review state-wise P&Ls, cost centre reports, and profitability analysis.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, including regional overheads and provisioning.

- Partner with sales and business teams to provide financial insights and enable decision-making.

- Act as a bridge between sales and core finance teams for all commercial finance matters.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to sales operations.

- Support audits and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Qualified CA / MBA (Finance - from a tier 1 college)

- 3-8 years of experience in sales, accounting / commercial finance roles.

- Prior experience in FMCG / alco-bev / retail / distribution-led industries preferred.

- Strong understanding of trade spends, discounting, credit control, and dealer management.

- Experience in MIS, financial analysis, and business partnering.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
