Job Summary

The Collection Manager CV & CE is responsible for managing end-to-end collections for the Commercial Vehicle and Construction Equipment loan portfolio in the assigned geography. The role focuses on minimizing delinquency, controlling NPAs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving recovery efficiency through effective team and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage collections for Commercial Vehicle and Construction Equipment loan portfolios across assigned locations.

- Monitor and control delinquencies, roll-backs, bounce rates, and NPAs in line with bank targets.

- Develop and execute collection strategies for early, mid, and late delinquency buckets.

- Lead, train, and motivate in-house collection teams and external agencies to achieve recovery targets.

- Ensure timely follow-ups, customer visits, repossession, surrender, and legal actions as per policy.

- Coordinate with legal, operations, credit, and sales teams for resolution of stressed accounts.

- Ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines, bank policies, and fair-practice codes.

- Analyze MIS reports, track portfolio performance, and present insights to senior management.

- Handle escalated customer cases, negotiations, settlements, and closure of difficult accounts.

- Manage repossession, auction, and asset disposal processes in compliance with legal norms.

- Maintain strong relationships with dealers, transporters, contractors, and key customers in the region.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of CV & CE financing and collection processes

- Knowledge of RBI regulations, SARFAESI, and legal recovery procedures

- Excellent people management and negotiation skills

- Ability to analyze portfolio trends and MIS data

- Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali (preferred)
