Collections Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the recovery of NPAs and written-off LAP cases.

- Lead, guide, and motivate the collections team to achieve recovery and resolution targets.

- Coordinate with the legal team for initiating recovery actions under SARFAESI Act and Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

- Negotiate settlements with borrowers to maximize recovery outcomes.

- Prepare and present periodic reports on collection performance and recovery strategies.

Profile Specifications

- Proven track record in handling NPA collections (specifically in LAP).

- In-depth knowledge of SARFAESI Act, Section 138, and other relevant recovery laws.

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with hands-on field recovery experience.

- Ability to lead and manage a team while working collaboratively with cross-functional departments including legal.
