Job Description - We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Head of Collections to lead the evolution of our digital collections strategy. This is not a traditional call-center collections role - we're building a future-ready platform that combines tech, partnerships, and scalable operations to redefine the way India collects.

It is transforming the collections landscape through a tech-first platform. We partner with 20+ leading NBFCs, banks, and financial institutions to deliver intelligent, efficient, and customer-friendly digital collections. Operating in a largely untapped 0-to-1 space.
Description
- Collections Leadership: Own and scale end-to-end collections strategy across digital, field, and partner channels.
- Strategy Mapping: Design, implement, and refine collection playbooks tailored to product types, risk bands, and lender categories.
- Partnership Enablement: Engage and manage relationships with NBFCs, Banks, and FinTechs - aligning collection performance with SLAs and compliance.
- Tech-Enabled Execution: Work closely with product and tech teams
- Operational Rigor: Build and manage internal and partner ops teams, drive key metrics (bucket-wise recovery rates, NPA reduction, etc.)
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure adherence to regulatory, fair practices, and data privacy standards.
- Team Building: Recruit and mentor a high-performance team of regional and digital collection managers.
- Frequent Travel: Field immersion to review operations, understand borrower behavior, and strengthen lender relationships.
- Proven success in managing pan-India collection teams and lender relationships.
- Experience working in or with NBFCs, banks, or FinTechs in consumer or SME lending.
- Strong understanding of digital collections models
- Strategic thinker with operational hustle - thrives in high-growth, 0-1 settings.
- Open to travel extensively for on-ground oversight.
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset; able to work closely with founders and tech teams
