Role Overview

The Business Analyst/Product Owner is a dynamic, dual-function role requiring 35 years of experience, focused on bridging the gap between business strategy and technical execution within the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) domain.

Based in Chennai, the incumbent must possess deep knowledge of healthcare payer processes and excel in Agile environments, driving product development from requirements gathering through user story completion.

This role requires an immediate joiner (Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days) with exceptional analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst or Product Owner with a strong background in the ERP domain and essential knowledge of the healthcare payer ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be adept at requirements analysis, creating comprehensive documentation (BRD, FRD), and managing the product backlog in an Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring alignment across complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.

Key Responsibilities and Product Deliverables

- Requirements Elicitation and Documentation: Lead Requirements Analysis and Requirement Gathering sessions with stakeholders, translating business needs into detailed technical specifications. Possess strong experience in creating User Stories, Business Requirements Document (BRD), and Functional Requirements Document (FRD).

- Domain Expertise (Healthcare Payer): Apply an excellent understanding of payer processes, including claims management, member enrollment, benefits administration, and related healthcare domains, to guide feature prioritization and solution design.

- Product Ownership Functions: Manage and groom the product backlog, define acceptance criteria, prioritize features based on business value, and serve as the voice of the customer for the development team.

- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate the ability to manage complex engagements with multiple stakeholders (internal teams, clients, vendors), ensuring clear communication and alignment on project scope and deliverables.

- Agile Execution: Work proficiently within Agile/Scrum methodologies, utilizing tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar, for sprint planning, tracking progress, and managing documentation.

- Analysis and Communication: Utilize strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills to articulate complex data, process flows, and product decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- ERP Domain Specialization: Leverage proven experience in the ERP Domain to analyze and advise on how new features integrate with or enhance existing ERP modules and processes.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 35 years of proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.

- Domain Expertise: Strong background in the ERP Domain coupled with an excellent understanding of healthcare payer processes (claims, enrollment, benefits).

- Requirements Skills: Expertise in Requirements Analysis, Requirement Gathering, and creating User Stories, BRD, and FRD documents.

- Methodology: Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency with collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

- Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex engagements, supported by strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
