Cofounder/Chief Technology Officer - Influencer Marketing Startup

Description:

- An Influencer marketing startup founded by professionals with VC funding and media background is inviting interest for Chief Technology Officer who would be responsible for the entire technological backbone, from defining the product's architecture to leveraging cutting-edge AI for data-driven insights and ensuring the platform can scale to handle global campaigns.

- In its initial phase, the startup would be working with a third-party SAAS while its own software is being put together. The CTO must have a good understanding of market for ready-to-use software options which can sync real-time influencer analytics from top social media platforms.

- The CTO must be easy to work with and should have experience of more than 3 years in handling own or third party technology backbone in the influencer marketing segment.

What is in for the CTO:

- This is an equity role with 0 investment which would ensure a percentage of total earning and valuation flowing to our CTO.

- This is not a 9-5 job. This comes with cofounder designation to co-own, lead and build a company together in a vast and ready market.

It is seeking following aspects:

- Technology Strategy & Vision: Define the long-term technical roadmap that aligns with the platform's business goals, such as user growth, data monetization, and market differentiation.

- Platform Architecture & Scalability: Oversee the design of a robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure (often cloud-based, using services like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) to manage millions of posts, track performance in real-time, and handle high traffic volumes without performance bottlenecks.

- Product Development & Innovation: Drive the development of new features and services, leveraging emerging technologies like machine learning (ML) and data analytics for influencer identification, performance tracking, audience segmentation, and content personalization.

- Data Strategy & Analytics: Establish data governance frameworks to collect, process, and analyze vast amounts of data to provide actionable insights for marketers and influencers, while ensuring data privacy and compliance with regulations.

- Team Leadership & Talent Development: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering and data science teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility (using methodologies like Agile and DevOps), and continuous learning.

- Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Implement robust security measures and protocols to protect sensitive customer and campaign data from breaches and cyber threats.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the CXOs to ensure technology initiatives are integrated with marketing campaigns and product development, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.

- Real-time Performance Tracking: Building systems that allow brands and influencers to track campaign performance, engagement metrics (like Click-Through Rate or CTR), and ROI in real-time.
