Job Description: Cluster Manager Company (Hyderabad)
Role Summary
The Cluster Manager is responsible for overseeing operations, performance, and growth across multiple Company outlets/branches/stores in a defined geographic cluster.
The role involves driving sales, ensuring excellent customer experience, managing teams, optimizing operations, and delivering profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve sales targets for the cluster.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities within the cluster area.
- Monitor KPIs same-store growth, footfall, conversion rates, average transaction value.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate store/branch managers and staff.
- Set performance goals, conduct reviews, ensure consistent service standards.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure operations run smoothly across all stores.
- Oversee inventory management stock ordering, transfers, shrinkage control.
- Ensure visual merchandising and brand guidelines adherence.
Customer Experience
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve escalations.
- Monitor feedback and take corrective actions.
Financial Management
- Manage profitability, control costs and expenses.
- Prepare budgets and analyze sales, expenses, and inventory reports.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Keep abreast of competitors, local trends, and customer preferences.
- Adjust product mix, promotions, and offers based on insights.
Expansion & Location Planning
- Assess and recommend potential new store locations.
- Review demographics, consumer behavior, and site feasibility.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Adhere to financial controls, loss prevention, and audits.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate regular performance reports for regional management.
- Use data to drive strategic decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Management / Retail / Commerce or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 5 to 6 years in retail or multi-store operations management.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with retail metrics, P&L management, and MS Office.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sales target achievement (cluster total, individual stores)
- Profit margin / Store-level profitability
- Customer satisfaction / feedback scores
- Inventory turnover, stock loss / shrinkage
