Job Title: Cluster / Regional Head Strategic Alliances (Sales & Business Development Banking Channel)
Location: Chennai
About the Role:
The Cluster/Regional Head Strategic Alliances will lead business development through Banking Channels, National Distributors, and Regional Distributors. The role demands expertise in financial product distribution, strong partner management capability, and a deep understanding of Mutual Funds and Wealth products. You will act as the strategic anchor for regional distribution alliances and drive business growth through partnership-led initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire, manage, and grow relationships with Banks, National Distributors, and Regional Distributors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all distribution partnerships in the assigned region.
- Ensure strong product placement across partner networks and platforms.
Drive business volumes through:
- Joint marketing campaigns
- Partner training sessions
- Sales enablement initiatives
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams for seamless execution.
- Track performance of distribution partners and conduct regular business reviews.
- Maintain strict compliance with regulatory and internal governance frameworks.
Requirements:
Experience: 10-12+ years in Mutual Funds, Wealth Management, or Financial Product Distribution Sales.
Education: MBA (Finance preferred). Additional qualifications like CFP, CFA, CWM, Fintech certifications are advantageous.
Certification: NISM VA is mandatory.
