Cluster Head - Wealth Management
About the Client:
Our client is a leading diversified financial services group with strong capabilities across broking, wealth management, asset management, and investment banking. With an extensive nationwide presence and a strong research-driven advisory approach, the firm is known for its innovation, integrity, and long-term value creation for clients. They are now looking for a dynamic leader to head the Wealth Management cluster and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Revenue Management
- Drive AUM growth, revenue generation, and profitability for the assigned cluster.
- Build and execute strategies to acquire new HNI/UHNI clients while ensuring high-quality client onboarding.
- Monitor regional business performance, forecast revenues, and initiate corrective actions where required.
- Ensure effective management of client portfolios with focus on long-term wealth creation.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Wealth Managers / Relationship Managers to ensure achievement of business targets.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews, provide coaching on sales strategy, product suitability, and client handling.
- Foster a culture of compliance, discipline, teamwork, and client-first advisory.
3. Client Engagement & Retention
- Ensure consistent and meaningful engagement with key clients across the cluster.
- Review and guide portfolio allocation strategies, asset mix decisions, and risk management practices.
- Resolve escalations efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships and service standards.
4. Cross-Selling & Collaboration
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell solutions such as Broking, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Insurance, and Structured Products.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Research, Product, Investment Advisory, and Banking partners to deliver holistic solutions.
- Drive the adoption of digital tools and platforms to enhance client and team productivity.
5. Compliance, Risk & Governance
- Ensure full adherence to internal and regulatory compliance standards (SEBI, AMFI, RBI guidelines).
- Review and approve client investment proposals where required.
- Mitigate operational risks by maintaining process discipline and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management, with 3-5 years in a leadership or cluster/regional management role.
- Deep understanding of investment products such as Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Structured Products, Life Insurance, and Broking solutions.
- Strong track record of driving AUM growth and meeting revenue targets.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a client-centric mindset.
