We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Cluster Head - Operations to oversee all operational activities for our retail branch banking network in Wayanad.

This critical leadership role involves ensuring seamless, compliant, and efficient operations across multiple branches, covering a broad spectrum of banking functions as per RBI norms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Oversight: Take full responsibility for all operational activities related to retail branch banking within the assigned cluster, encompassing loans, deposits, ATM management, welcome kits, customer grievances, safe deposit lockers, cash management, and other banking services.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all Reserve Bank of India (RBI) norms, internal banking policies, and operational guidelines across all branches in the cluster.

- Audit & Control: Oversee internal and external audits for operational processes, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of any findings.

- Implement robust internal controls to mitigate operational risks.

- Process Optimization: Continuously review and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and improve the overall customer experience.

- Customer Grievance Resolution: Establish and maintain effective mechanisms for addressing customer grievances, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide Branch Operations Managers and their teams, fostering a culture of operational excellence, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key operational metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure high standards of service delivery.

- Cash Management: Supervise and ensure secure and efficient cash management operations across all branches in the cluster.

Required Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- 10+ years of overall banking experience.

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Branch Head.

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Branch Operations Manager.

- Domain Expertise: Deep and comprehensive knowledge of retail branch banking operations, including but not limited to loans, deposits, ATMs, cash management, and customer service.

- Regulatory Understanding: Strong understanding of RBI norms, banking regulations, and compliance requirements related to branch operations.

- Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead and manage operational teams effectively across multiple locations.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, customers, and auditors.
