
Key Responsibilities
Cluster Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage overall farm operations across the cluster, ensuring alignment with company vision and regenerative agriculture protocols.
- Drive cluster expansion strategies, identifying opportunities to scale operations across multiple regions.
- Prepare and manage cluster-level budgets, ensuring cost optimization and financial efficiency.
Production & Supply Chain Management
- Develop and execute production planning aligned with market demand and sales forecasts.
- Oversee contract farming operations, ensuring compliance with regenerative practices and farmer engagement protocols.
- Monitor farm-level activities to ensure zero chemical usage, adherence to regenerative standards, and continuous process improvement.
- Manage operations at Regional Aggregation Centres (RACs) including collection, grading, sorting, storage, and logistics coordination.
- Ensure quality control, timely delivery, and SKU availability to meet customer demand.
Farmer Engagement & Capacity Building
- Mobilize, onboard, and mentor farmers for contract farming programs.
- Provide training and guidance to farmers in regenerative organic practices.
- Foster long-term relationships with farmer partners, driving community development and shared prosperity.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with sales, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of plans.
- Collaborate with the Centre of Excellence to implement the latest innovations in regenerative farming.
- Provide continuous field insights to technical teams for R&D and process refinement.
Governance & Performance Management
- Establish KPIs for farming, logistics, and delivery metrics at the cluster level.
- Monitor team performance, provide leadership coaching, and build a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sustainability, and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Postgraduate or graduate degree in Agriculture / Agri-Business Management with 810 years of experience in farmer-level operations.
- OR graduate/postgraduate in other disciplines with 10+ years experience in large-scale agri, F&V, or contract farming operations.
Experience:
- Strong background in organic, natural, or regenerative farming practices.
- Proven track record of leading regional-scale farm operations, preferably in high-growth or sustainability-driven organizations.
- Experience in supply chain management, farmer engagement, and contract farming models.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent communication in English, Hindi, and local language(s).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of ERP/AgriTech platforms.
- Ability to drive business development, expansion planning, and cost optimization.
