- We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented Cluster Head - Branch Banking to lead the retail banking operations across a cluster of branches.
- This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the profitability, growth, and overall performance of the retail business within the assigned cluster.
- The ideal candidate will be a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in retail banking leadership and a proven track record of achieving ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Profitability & Target Achievement: Take full responsibility for the profitability of the retail banking business across various branches within the assigned cluster, consistently meeting or exceeding targets allocated by the Bank.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Strategize and execute comprehensive actions for balance sheet growth, retail customer acquisition, and overall business growth within the cluster.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of Branch Heads/In-charge, fostering a culture of excellence, sales effectiveness, and customer-centricity.
Business Development: Drive aggressive business development initiatives to expand the retail customer base, focusing on current account, savings account (CASA) growth, and other retail banking products.
Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency, adherence to banking regulations, and high standards of customer service across all branches in the cluster.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, adapting strategies accordingly.
Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all banking policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements within the cluster.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with other departments and senior management to achieve holistic business objectives.
Required Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 15+ years of overall banking experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Branch Head.
Retail Banking Leadership: Strong and proven experience in Retail Banking at a Leadership role, demonstrating the ability to drive sales, manage operations, and lead teams effectively.
CASA Management: Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully handled a CASA book of close to INR 100 crores or higher.
Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, team management, coaching, and motivational skills.
Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of retail banking products, services, and market dynamics.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Communication: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
