Role Overview:

We are looking for an accomplished finance leader to head the Middle East & Africa Cluster Finance function, based in Chennai. The role will be responsible for overseeing finance operations across multiple international markets, ensuring compliance with local regulations, managing funding requirements, and supporting strategic business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the finance function for the Middle East & Africa cluster, covering FP&A, treasury, financial controls, and reporting for multiple geographies.

- Partner with regional and corporate leadership to provide financial insights, drive business performance, and support EPC project execution.

- Oversee international tax structures, transfer pricing, and cross-border compliance, ensuring alignment with corporate policies.

- Manage project financing, bank relationships, and funding strategies across diverse jurisdictions.

- Support commercial teams in bid evaluations, contract structuring, and financial modelling for large international EPC projects.

- Ensure governance, statutory compliance, and adherence to local accounting standards in each operating country.

- Build and lead a culturally diverse finance team, fostering collaboration across geographies.

Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance with 15-20 years of experience.

- Mandatory experience in the EPC industry with exposure to multi-country operations in the Middle East and/or Africa.

- Strong expertise in project finance, international taxation, foreign exchange, and cross-border treasury management.

- Proven ability to work with global stakeholders, manage complex financing structures, and ensure compliance in diverse environments.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
