Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified US Accountant or US CPA to join our night shift team and manage accounting and tax responsibilities for US-based clients. This is a remote position, ideal for professionals comfortable working independently while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

- Manage general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, and journal entries

- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps

- Assist with year-end closing and audit support

- Perform financial analysis and provide insights to clients

- Maintain client confidentiality and ensure data security

- Collaborate with the internal team and US clients during overlapping work hours

- Stay updated on IRS guidelines, tax law changes, and accounting standards

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- CPA certification (active or in progress) preferred

- 3+ years of relevant US accounting/tax experience

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IRS tax codes, and state regulations

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Drake, or similar

- Excellent communication and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Comfortable working night shifts (US time zone alignment)
