About the Company:

We are a dynamic and fast-growing company engaged in the international and domestic trade of minerals. With a strong presence in the market and robust global sourcing networks, we are expanding our operations and seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to lead and manage our financial operations with strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with statutory requirements

- Ensure timely closing of accounts and submission of financial statements

Accounts Management:

- Supervise and manage day-to-day accounting functions

- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts

- Handle audits, taxation, and statutory filings

Banking & Treasury:

- Maintain strong banking relationships for working capital management, forex, LC, BG, and fund flow

- Monitor cash flows and implement cost control strategies

- Liaise with banks for loan documentation, trade finance, and project funding

Contract & Commercial Review:

- Review and interpret commercial contracts and agreements

- Identify financial and legal risks in trading and purchase agreements

- Coordinate with legal and commercial teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Foreign Trade Operations:

- Monitor and manage international trade transactions, including import/export documentation

- Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, GST, and DGFT regulations

- Coordinate with logistics, CHA, and overseas suppliers/customers for smooth trade flow

Team Leadership:

- Lead a small team of accountants and finance professionals

- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and process improvement

Key Requirements:

Education:

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification

Experience:

- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in finance & accounts

- Prior exposure to mineral trading / commodities / export-import businesses is highly preferred

- Strong experience in financial management, contract understanding, and foreign trade

- Proven track record in managing banking relationships and trade finance instruments

Skills:

- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in Tally/ERP and MS Excel

- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
