Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Cloud Presales Consultant - Google Cloud (GCP) to support enterprise sales initiatives by designing, positioning, and presenting cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with sales teams, enterprise customers, and technical stakeholders to architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective Google Cloud solutions covering migration, modernization, data, AI/ML, infrastructure, security, and managed services.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical depth, consultative engagement skills, and solutioning expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with enterprise customers to understand business objectives and technical requirements.

- Design and recommend Google Cloud (GCP) solutions aligned to client needs and transformation goals.

- Deliver solution architecture presentations, technical demos, workshops, and executive discussions.

- Support sales teams in RFPs, RFIs, proposals, BOM creation, solution documentation, and bid responses.

- Architect solutions for cloud migration, application modernization, DR/Backup, DevOps, analytics, AI/ML, and managed services.

- Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical validations for prospective customers.

- Collaborate with sales, delivery, product, and partner teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful handover.

- Ensure solutions follow best practices in security, governance, performance, scalability, and cost optimization.

- Build strong relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Heads, and enterprise stakeholders.

- Stay updated with latest GCP services, partner ecosystem, and market trends.

Key Requirements:

- 6 - 10 years of experience in Cloud Presales / Solution Architecture / Technical Consulting.

- Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) presales or architecture roles.

- Strong knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), BigQuery, Cloud Storage, VPC/Networking, IAM/Security, Backup/DR, and Vertex AI.

- Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, networking, and cloud security.

- Experience with cloud migration, containers, Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, and microservices.

- Strong experience handling enterprise customers and complex solutioning scenarios.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work closely with sales teams in a quota-supporting client-facing role.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT.

- Google Cloud Certifications highly preferred: Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer.

- MBA is an added advantage (not mandatory).
