Cloud Delivery Lead - Banking/Financial Services Sector

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Delivery Lead to manage and deliver cloud infrastructure and transformation projects for banking and financial services environments.

The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering cloud projects across AWS/Azure, ensuring security, availability, performance, compliance, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure and migration projects.

- Manage cloud transformation initiatives across AWS and/or Azure.

- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, security, network, and business teams.

- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

- Drive cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure deployment activities.

- Ensure cloud solutions follow banking security, compliance, and governance requirements.

- Manage cloud operations, availability, performance, and capacity.

- Work with vendors and technology partners for project delivery.

- Prepare project plans, status reports, risk registers, and management updates.

- Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of technical and delivery issues.

- Drive incident, change, problem, and service management processes.

- Ensure successful transition of projects into BAU/operations.

- Provide technical and delivery leadership to cloud engineering teams.

Required Technical Skills:

- Strong experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

- Cloud migration and transformation.

- Cloud infrastructure: Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM.

- Virtualization and data center technologies.

- Networking concepts: DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancer, VPN, Firewall.

- Cloud security and IAM.

- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / CloudFormation / ARM/Bicep.

- Monitoring and logging tools.

- Disaster Recovery and High Availability.

- CI/CD and DevOps concepts.

- ITIL / IT Service Management.

Banking / Financial Services Experience:

- Experience delivering projects in Banking, BFSI, Insurance, or Financial Services.

- Understanding of banking security and regulatory requirements.

- Experience with audit, compliance, risk management, and data protection.

- Experience working in large enterprise / regulated environments.

- Good understanding of BCP, DR, RTO and RPO.
