
Role Overview:
The Client Acquisition Consultant Startups will be responsible for acquiring and onboarding early-stage and growth-stage startup clients for Hirlys recruitment solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of startup hiring needs, fast-paced sales cycles, and relationship-driven selling. You will act as a trusted hiring partner to founders and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Business Development:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire startup clients (Seed to Series D) across industries.
- Pitch Hirlys recruitment solutions to founders, CXOs, HR Heads, and Talent Leaders.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles: lead generation, discovery calls, proposal pitching, negotiation, and closures.
- Build long-term partnerships by understanding startup growth plans and hiring roadmaps.
Market & Account Management:
- Understand startup ecosystems, funding stages, and hiring patterns.
- Provide consultative insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring timelines.
- Upsell and cross-sell recruitment services as clients scale.
Collaboration & Delivery Enablement:
- Work closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure smooth handover and delivery.
- Align client expectations with recruitment capabilities and timelines.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business.
Reporting & Targets:
- Maintain accurate sales data in CRM.
- Track leads, conversions, revenue, and client engagement metrics.
- Meet monthly and quarterly acquisition targets.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in B2B sales or client acquisition, preferably selling services to startups.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- High energy, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup ecosystem.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and customize pitches based on client maturity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or related field.
- 2 to 6+ years of experience in client acquisition, staffing sales, or SaaS/services sales.
- Experience working with startups or startup founders is a strong plus.
