Role Overview:
The Senior Manager Financial Reporting & Controllership will lead financial reporting, controllership, and audit governance across multiple geographies. This role requires strong accounting expertise, process automation mindset, and leadership to ensure high-quality reporting and compliance with global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and consolidation across India, KSA, Malaysia, UAE, and upcoming EU setup.
- Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and board-level financial packs.
- Drive process automation and reporting standardization.
2. Controllership & Compliance:
- Ensure accounting governance, balance sheet integrity, and Ind AS / IFRS compliance.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and cost allocations.
- Define and implement accounting policies and process improvements.
- Supervise Accounts Payable and Payroll processes.
3. Audit & Risk Management:
- Coordinate statutory and internal audits with Big 4 and international audit firms.
- Ensure timely completion of audits and group consolidation reviews.
- Drive remediation of audit findings and identify potential risks.
4. Commercial Finance & Treasury:
- Support commercial reviews, including customer contracts, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Partner with business and legal teams to ensure compliance in commercial arrangements.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and treasury controls.
5. Systems & Process Automation:
- Own finance process ownership for ERP and reporting systems (SAP preferred).
- Drive automation and continuous improvement within the finance function.
Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, controllership, and audit management.
- Prior experience in SaaS, eCommerce, or Fintech preferred.
- Exposure to multi-country operations and international audits.
- Hands-on ERP experience (SAP preferred).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
