Role Overview:

The Senior Manager Finance: Accounts Receivable will lead the end-to-end AR function, ensuring efficient invoicing, collections, and cash flow management. The role is critical for working capital optimization, revenue recognition accuracy, and strong stakeholder engagement across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Operations:

- Manage end-to-end AR processes: invoicing, collections, credit management, dispute resolution.

- Ensure timely and accurate billing as per contractual terms and accounting standards.

- Monitor AR aging and implement collection strategies to optimize cash flow.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Maintain accurate AR records in ERP systems (SAP preferred).

- Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Support monthend and quarterend AR-related closing activities.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS / Ind AS and internal controls.

Process Improvement & Automation:

- Identify gaps and automate AR workflows to improve efficiency.

- Collaborate with ERP and finance teams to enhance AR systems.

Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with sales, operations, and legal teams to resolve billing disputes and credit issues.

- Provide AR insights and forecasts to support cash flow planning.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead and mentor AR team members, setting objectives and monitoring performance.

- Promote continuous improvement and service excellence within the AR function.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance) / Commerce graduate.

Experience:

- 8-12 years in Accounts Receivable or Finance operations.

- Strong knowledge of AR processes, revenue recognition, and credit management.

- ERP experience (SAP preferred).

- Experience in SaaS / Fintech / eCommerce preferred.

- Prior team leadership experience.
