About the Role

As a Compliance Consultant (Pre-Sales) for International Business, you'll play a strategic, client-facing role - helping global enterprises navigate evolving e-Invoicing, VAT, and digital reporting regulations.

You'll work closely with prospective clients to understand their regional compliance needs, demonstrate Clear's SaaS capabilities, and co-create tailored solutions that ensure compliance and scalability across multiple markets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining regulatory expertise, consultative selling, and solution design in a fast-growing global environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead pre-sales conversations with enterprise clients across Middle East, SEA, and EU markets.

- Understand evolving e-Invoicing frameworks, VAT laws, and digital reporting standards in each region (e.g., ZATCA, Peppol, KSA, Singapore, EU VAT in the Digital Age).

- Act as a trusted compliance advisor, translating complex regulatory requirements into Clear's product solutions.

- Partner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales) to shape country-specific e-Invoicing propositions.

- Deliver product demos, client workshops, and business case presentations to CXO and tax leadership teams.

- Maintain a strong understanding of global compliance trends and keep clients informed on upcoming changes.

- Capture client feedback and emerging needs to influence product roadmaps and solution enhancements.

- Develop and nurture strategic client relationships - managing a portfolio of 20-30 enterprise accounts.

- Support RFP responses, solution documentation, and proposal creation.

- Coach and guide internal sales teams on compliance narratives and consultative selling.

What You'll Need

- Strong knowledge of indirect tax / compliance frameworks such as e-Invoicing, VAT, SAF-T, or Peppol (experience in Middle East or EU compliance preferred).

- 5-10 years' experience in consulting, pre-sales, or compliance advisory within a SaaS, Big 4, or enterprise tech environment.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills - confident interacting with CFOs, tax leaders, and IT heads.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to map client processes to digital compliance workflows.

- Experience in solution design or pre-sales documentation (RFPs, demos, proposals).

- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive client success across multiple geographies.

- Enthusiastic, proactive, and comfortable in an agile, high-growth SaaS environment.
