Clarion Technologies - Senior Product Owner

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Product Management and Engineering teams. The Product Owner will be responsible for maximizing product value by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

In this role, you will translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements and work alongside the development team to ensure alignment, delivery, and continuous improvement of the product. You will be a key driver in shaping the product vision and ensuring successful delivery across sprints and releases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary liaison between Product Management and Engineering to ensure a shared understanding of goals, priorities, and timelines.

- Partner with the Technical Owner and Agile squad to ensure high-quality software delivery in a predictable, iterative manner.

- Participate actively in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from ideation and design through deployment and ongoing maintenance.

- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, Security teams, DBAs, UX Designers, Customers, and fellow Product Owners to understand business challenges and translate them into practical solutions.

- Shape, communicate, and uphold the product vision to ensure alignment across teams and stakeholders.

- Build, maintain, and continuously prioritize a product backlog aligned with the company's technical and strategic business goals.

- Work closely with the development squad to define Epics and User Stories that meet the Definition of

Ready and ensure that deliverables meet the Definition of Done post development and testing.

- Lead and actively participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint demos.

- Proactively identify and mitigate impediments that may impact sprint or release delivery.

- Drive sprint and release planning efforts, monitor progress against delivery timelines, and effectively communicate updates and changes to stakeholders.

- Ensure delivery of sprint and quarterly goals to maximize the product's business value and user satisfaction.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within Agile software development teams.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and best practices.

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, UX, and QA.

- Excellent skills in backlog management, user story creation, and defining acceptance criteria.

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.

- Prior experience in the [industry/domain] or software development environment is preferred.
