Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled and analytical Sr Data Scientists to join our dynamic team based in Bangalore.

In this role, you will need to leverage complex data sets to develop data-driven insights and predictive models, driving business decisions and strategies.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be required to deliver impactful data-driven solutions tailored to our business needs, with a particular focus on banking applications such as credit and fraud analysis.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Design, develop, and implement data analytics and machine learning models to support business initiatives, with a focus on banking applications.

- Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions and recommendations.

- Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for building analytic systems.

- Utilize predictive modeling to optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.

- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data science, analytics, and banking to ensure best practices are adopted.

Qualifications and Skills:

- BE/MSc/MBA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.

- 5 years of relevant experience in machine learning, data science, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record in developing and implementing data models and machine learning algorithms.

- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and Python.

- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application in real-world scenarios.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Experience in visualization tool PowerBI/Tableau/Other

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable business insights.

- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.

Good to Have:

- Experience of ML tools such as Knime, R, SAS, SPSS, H2O, Tensor flow etc

- Exposure to NLP/Neural networks, GenAI/LLM

- Exposure to ML ops process

- Exposure to banking and finance businesses particularly credit risk or fraud risk areas.

- Familiarity with Linux operating system.

- Experience in product companies.

Experience:

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in machine learning, data science and analytics.
