Clari5 - Product Manager/Insurance Technology Consultant

About the Role:

We are looking for an Insurance Technology Consultant with deep, practitioner-level experience in the Insurance industry - specifically in Fraud, Waste & Abuse detection and prevention.

The right candidate should have hands-on experience building, deploying, or advising on insurance-specific products and understands the nuances of claims lifecycles, underwriting risk, TPA ecosystems, and IRDAI compliance.

You will be a founding voice in Clari5's Insurance FWA product strategy - shaping market positioning, defining product scope, guiding integration architecture, and validating our go-to-market approach across General, Health, Life, Motor, and Reinsurance segments.

Experience: 12+ years total; minimum 8 years in Insurance domain

Segments: Health/TPA, General Insurance, Life, Motor/P&C, Reinsurance

Reporting To: Chief Product Officer

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Validation: Lead market discovery across insurance segments engage with insurers, TPAs, brokers, and reinsurers to identify FWA pain points and product opportunities

- Product Scoping: Define MVP product scope use cases, detection models, rules engine requirements, workflow, and adjudication logic across target insurance segments

- Integration Architecture: Map integration architecture with TPA portals, and IRDAI data exchange standards

- Regulatory Advisory: Document the IRDAI regulatory landscape for FWA and translate compliance requirements into product design inputs

- GTM Strategy: Synthesise discovery findings into a prioritised segment and go-to-market recommendation

- Ecosystem Engagement: Leverage industry network to facilitate introductions with target insurance buyers and potential channel partners

Requirements:

- Direct experience building or deploying an insurance FWA / fraud analytics product

- Deep fluency in claims processing - cashless health, motor, life, group

- Exposure to at least 23 insurance lines: General, Health/TPA, Life, Motor, Reinsurance

- Familiarity with IRDAI regulations and compliance frameworks

- Experience interfacing with insurance technology stacks - policy admin, claims systems, TPA portals

- Ability to articulate how Insurance FWA differs from banking fraud - and why that shapes product design

- Network within the Indian insurance ecosystem - carriers, TPAs, IRDAI, GIC Re
