ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
- Ensure delivery of 3D plans and BOQ within the set timelines keeping the client's requirements in mind to ensure closure of agreement keeping to ensure the handover date.
- Determine optimum method of operations to achieve required finished product efficiently.
- Create a project plan and share with all stakeholders specifying deliverables and Timelines
- Handover details regarding material etc required for the project to Procurement at BOQ stage
- Plan for projects to be delivered to the client basis the requests raised during the contract period
- Take measures towards task completion in case of exigencies to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Reviews each project plan against the performance and create the annual spend.
- Ensure complete documentation of communication with all stakeholders and ensure that all have the required information
- Validate all requirements passed on from BD against the checklists before passing them on to other functions
Stakeholder Management:
- Inform all stake holders about deviations, delays and challenges
- Pre-empt the risks in the project and devise strategy to mitigate the same.
- Inform all stakeholders of the risks that might deter the project quality or timelines.
Cost Management:
- Determine the cost of projects for all new contracts signed.
- Establish the standard cost of each Project specifying the manpower, equipment and other elements to be used.
Resource Management:
- Assigns tasks and timelines to the project team and contracted teams.
- Provide resources and tools to the team assigned for each project
- Reallocate resources as and when needed to avoid any derails
- Ensure all resources allocated to the project are within the budget allocated
Quality Management:
- Ensure that the projects delivered are basis the quality standards set by the organization.
- Communicate the quality parameters to all stakeholders to ensure zero deviation
- Train the Projects team to service standards committed to the client
- Audit the quality reports and devise plans to ensure that all quality parameters are met
- Set guidelines for quality to followed by all the contractors and allied teams
- Review high level quality check on the projects delivered
- Review the quality issues, understand the root causes and solutions devised
- Guide the project leads on quality expectations and help them make necessary improvements
Vendor Management:
- Establish standards and guidelines for vendors, monitoring vendors to ensure the policies and processes are being followed.
- Monitor the work done by the vendors and conduct periodic audits
- Conduct performance review with the vendors and create improvement plans
- Manage the contracts signed with the vendor and ensure that the deliverable are as per the commercials discussed
- Ensure cost optimization through the vendors.
People Management:
- Implement people management policies in relation to team performance management, including training and development.
- Select, recruit and induct the right team in collaboration with HR
- Measure performance of people and give timely feedback and perform quarterly performance reviews.
- Develop people to ensure succession planning.
- Adhere to organization's values and maintain good interpersonal relationship with all the members of the organization
