City Head - Current Account (VP2)
Description :
Primary Responsibility :
- Team Handling and client management
Business Development & Revenue Growth :
- Drive acquisition of high-value Current Accounts across segments (SME, Corporate, Traders, Institutions).
- Own P&L for the citys current account business.
- Deliver CASA/CA balance growth, fee income, and transaction volumes.
- Identify new business opportunities and high-potential customer clusters.
Sales Leadership & Team Management :
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Managers, Relationship Managers, and Acquisition Officers.
- Implement weekly/monthly business reviews and performance tracking.
- Ensure productivity, capability building, and strong sales discipline.
Portfolio Management :
- Monitor account activation, cross-sell, and transaction deepening.
- Reduce dormancy and ensure healthy product penetration (Payments, CMS, POS, Trade, FX).
- Ensure high customer retention and excellent service experience.
Key Client & Market Engagement :
- Build and maintain relationships with top SMEs, corporates, channel partners, and influencers.
- Actively engage in market visits, client meetings, and networking events.
- Represent the bank within local trade associations and business communities.
Compliance, Risk & Governance :
- Ensure all Current Account sourcing adheres to KYC, AML, and internal compliance norms.
- Maintain quality of sourcing and minimize operational & reputational risks.
- Drive adherence to audit guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Strategic Planning & Reporting :
- Develop city-level CA growth strategies aligned with regional goals.
- Provide MIS reports, market insights, competitor benchmarking.
- Recommend product enhancements based on customer needs
