- Reporting to the Workiva Services Manager, the Workiva Services Senior Consultant will assist some of the largest companies in the world transform their reporting processes.
- Transformation activities include current state documentation, requirements analysis, solution design development, migration, implementation, testing, delivery, and support for projects.
Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with gathering client business requirements and documenting technical functional specifications.
- Communicating extensively and regularly with clients to drive expectations and report on the status of ongoing projects.
- Configure various modules within the Workiva platform.
- Perform data migration tasks from legacy to current business solutions.
- Perform system testing and issue resolution support.
- Troubleshoot and support Workiva solutions.
- Assisting with client adoption of the Workiva platform through enablement training and testing.
- Complete project tasks as assigned, on time and budget.
- Provide project status updates to Manager on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a team or individually, as required.
- Receptive to mentoring.
- Recommending additional use cases and enhancements for which clients can leverage Workiva in future states to further automate their financial/management reporting processes, which develops long-lasting partnerships that naturally drive revenue growth for our practice.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of ERP, GRC or ESG system implementation experience.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modeling, building robust schedules from scratch, as well as being able to generate and troubleshoot complex spreadsheet formulas.
- Proficiency in Word documents and power point presentations.
- Experience using ERP, CPM, GL or other reporting systems to extract financial data.
- Unwavering integrity and ethics.
- Experience interacting with clients/customers, establishing credibility, and building relationships.
- Experience improving processes, including demonstrable examples of innovative thinking and problem solving.
- High level of motivation, organization, and commitment to professional development for self and team.
- Experience successfully working independently with minimal instruction while remaining communicative.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Workivas platform.
- Understanding of accounting, risk and compliance, or ESG and Sustainability processes.
- 2 years of management consulting and/or 2 years of public accounting experience.
- Business process flow and flowcharting experience.
- Project management experience.
Education Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Accounting or similar focus.
