Manager - NFP, Single Audit, Government, and/or HUD

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to lead our NFP (Not-for-Profit), Single Audit, Government, and/or HUD engagements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in US GAAP and GAAS, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex audit assignments independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with US GAAP and US GAAS.

- Lead and manage a team of accounting and auditing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight.

- Perform accounting and auditing research independently to resolve complex technical issues.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, and U.S.-based colleagues.

- Analyze the impact of financial presentations and disclosures, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

- Plan, execute, and deliver audit engagements within agreed timelines while maintaining high quality standards.

- Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations and standards, particularly in NFP, Single Audit, Government, and HUD sectors.

- Collaborate effectively across teams and demonstrate excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.

Position Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in US GAAP and US GAAS audits.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or other recognized qualification in accounting and tax.

- Knowledge of Caseware and Caseview is preferred.

- Strong teamwork and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage team members.

- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Industry exposure to NFP, Single Audit, Government, and/or HUD sectors.

- Fluency in English (written and spoken).

- Ability to meet deadlines and manage work based on project urgency.

- Eagerness to learn new software and adapt to evolving industry practices.

- Positive attitude, quick learner, enthusiastic, and a strong team player.

- Willingness to work long hours during peak busy season.
