Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets, expand existing client relationships, and increase revenue. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Performance Management: Set clear sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team. Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales. Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market insights, and team productivity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies with company-wide objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the sales process and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) is mandatory.
- Experience: 6-8 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and managing a sales pipeline.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. A strong ability to inspire and empower others.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic business decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
