Chief Technology Officer - SaaS

Job Brief:

We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and seasoned CTO to lead our technological journey and take direct ownership of our innovative sports analytics platform. The ideal candidate will have a firm command over the design and development of SaaS-based products/platforms, product and deployment architectures, AI/ML, streaming technologies, and mobile app development. Strategic thinking, strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for this role. Responsibilities:

Technology Innovation and Leadership:

- Lead the technological vision, innovation, and strategy of the company.

- Take full ownership of the design, architecture, and hands-on development of scalable, highperformance solutions for our sports analytics platform.

- Lead the development of products and solutions from the front, ensuring excellence.

- Drive the technology team's growth and development, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

- Stay updated with emerging technology trends, tools, and frameworks, driving continuous refinement of our processes and solutions.

Business and IT Transformation:

- Ensure that the technology strategy aligns with the business goals and objectives.

- Drive business transformation through the effective use of technology.

- Own the design and optimization of product and deployment architectures for a scalable SaaS product.

- Lead technical discussions and decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology best practices.

- Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.

Quality Assurance and Operations:

- Oversee business operations and ensure the highest standards of quality assurance.

- Implement efficient processes and standards to enable scalable growth.

- Ensure all technology solutions comply with security standards and meet the scalability and performance requirements of a fast-paced startup environment.

Technical Skills and Expertise:

Proficiency in Tech Stack:

- Back-end frameworks: Python (FastAPI)

- Front-end frameworks and languages: Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS

- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB

- Messaging: Kafka

- Caching: Redis, Memcache

- AI Stack: Computer Vision

- Live Streaming Tech Stack

- Mobile App Development for Android and iOS

- Cloud Native Product Development: Azure/AWS/GCP AI/ML and Computer Vision:

- Solid understanding and hands-on experience in AI/ML, specifically Computer Vision.

- Experience in implementing AI/ML solutions for real-world problems, especially in sports analytics.

DevOps and IT Infrastructure:

- Experience with microservices, SaaS-based architecture, multi-tenant architecture, and containerization frameworks.

- Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and continuous integration/deployment.

- 10-14 years of experience in SaaS based product development, software architecture, hands-on development, and team leadership, preferably in the sports analytics or sports industry.
