
Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Job Summary
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the development and execution of the company's technology strategy, supporting business growth, digital transformation, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in financial services technology, strong leadership in enterprise systems, and a passion for innovation and security.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Technology Leadership
- Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business and regulatory goals.
- Advise the CEO and leadership team on emerging technologies, innovation, and compliance trends.
- Drive digital transformation and modernization across all technology platforms.
- Lead strategic decisions on tools, platforms, vendors, and technology investments.
- Enhance scalability, customer experience, and operational performance through tech innovation.
2. IT Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., RBI IT & Cybersecurity policies).
- Establish policies for cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT governance.
- Oversee IT budgeting, project prioritization, vendor management, and risk controls.
- Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks are in place.
3. Infrastructure & Technology Management
- Lead IT infrastructure across on-premises, cloud (public/private/hybrid), and hosted environments.
- Oversee IT operations: data centers, networks, endpoint devices, and support systems.
- Manage core business applications: Lending platforms, CRM, HRMS, analytics, and workflow tools.
- Implement best practices in SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and IT support models.
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability across the technology landscape.
4. Innovation & Digitalisation
- Champion adoption of modern technologies: AI/ML, data analytics, mobile-first, and cloud-native solutions.
- Lead digital initiatives focused on customer experience, automation, and agility.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration.
5. People & Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team, including internal and outsourced resources.
- Attract, retain, and develop top talent to build future-ready capabilities.
- Foster strong partnerships with business units to align tech strategy with business objectives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or MCA (or equivalent).
- PG Diploma in Business Management (preferred).
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP (an added advantage).
Experience
- 15-20 years in IT leadership roles within Banking, Lending, or Financial Services.
- Minimum 5 years in senior management overseeing IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital platforms.
- Proven success in enterprise architecture, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.
Technical Proficiency
- Development: HTML5, mobile frameworks
- Core Systems: Lending platforms, CRM, HRMS, analytics
- Infrastructure: Data centers, networks, cloud (AWS, Azure)
- Databases: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL
- Methodologies: Agile, DevOps, SDLC
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
- Experience with RegTech, cybersecurity frameworks, and data protection
- Familiarity with AI/ML, cloud-native architectures, and digital payments ecosystem
