Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Role Location: Bangalore, India Reports to: CEO Role and Responsibilities: - Leadership and Strategy: Lead product engineering and ML teams, align them with product vision and strategy, and partner with the CEO to scale products. - Technical and Business Focus: Combine technology leadership with market/customer/investor-facing business competencies. - Hands-on and Mentorship: Be both a hands-on leader and a mentor, demonstrating superior software development capabilities and guiding the team. - Product Development: Develop and execute a 3-year product vision and roadmap, integrate generative AI technologies, and create innovative product features. - Operational Excellence: Participate in daily engineering stands, work sessions, strategy meetings, and customer conversations. Manage sprint goals and ensure timely delivery of development goals. - Revenue Goals: Achieve shared revenue goals of $1.1 million for 2024 and $6.2 million for 2025. Eligibility and Experience: - Educational Background: Bachelor's in Computer Science (IIT/NIT preferred). Advanced degree in EE, software, ML, or Data Analytics preferred. - Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MERN stack, Generative AI, LLMs, and micro LLMs. - Industry and Sector Experience: 15-20 years in engineering leadership, with experience in B2B software development, data, NLP, and AI technologies. Experience in Legal Tech, Medical Tech, or similar enterprise platform architectures is a plus. - Leadership and Management: Proven credentials in leading tech teams and taking software solutions to market. Executive competencies to interact with the Board, investors, and partners. - Professional Growth: Experience in roles like Lead Engineer, Architect, Engineering Manager, and VP Engineering, progressing to a tech-leadership role. - Geographical Flexibility: Must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
