Role Overview:
This is a strategic leadership position where you will own and drive the entire engineering and technology ecosystem of a fast-growing, consumer-focused managed living platform. You will lead platform scalability, system architecture, and engineering execution across consumer-facing applications and internal enterprise systems that are critical to business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the end-to-end engineering landscape across consumer platforms, internal tools, data systems, and integrations.
- Define and execute the long-term engineering vision, architecture, and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Build, scale, and mentor high-performing engineering teams, including engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
- Drive best practices across system design, code quality, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, security, and reliability.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and Business leaders to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
- Balance rapid product innovation with platform stability by managing technical debt and engineering governance.
- Establish strong hiring, onboarding, and talent development frameworks for the engineering organization.
- Lead technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in senior engineering leadership roles
- Proven track record of building and leading engineering teams in consumer internet, SaaS, marketplace, or platform-driven organizations
- Strong expertise in system architecture, distributed systems, and scalable backend platforms
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and real-world use cases, with experience collaborating with data or ML teams to drive adoption.
- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments, preferably with operational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at senior leadership levels
- Strong people leadership capabilities, including hiring, mentoring, and succession planning
