Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and business-oriented Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology function and drive the organisation's digital transformation agenda. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the CTO will be responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy, ensuring scalable and secure systems, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Leadership:

- Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals, growth plans, and operational priorities.

- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and assess their potential business impact.

- Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive technology-enabled business initiatives.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning across technology teams.

Digital Transformation & Innovation:

- Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance products, services, and internal processes.

- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience through technology.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend technologies that strengthen the organisation's competitive advantage.

Technology Operations & Infrastructure:

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and high-performing technology systems and infrastructure.

- Ensure the reliability and availability of networks, databases, applications, and enterprise platforms.

- Establish disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks to minimise operational risks.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.

Financial & Vendor Management:

- Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost optimisation.

- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.

- Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value.

Risk Management & Governance:

- Identify and mitigate technology-related risks.

- Implement robust cybersecurity practices and governance frameworks.

- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role such as CTO, Head of Technology, IT Director, or equivalent.

- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, software development, and systems architecture.

- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making.

- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into technology strategies.

- Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building capabilities.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Preferred:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Certifications such as AWS, CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent.

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

- Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the Indian market.

- Experience in risk management, business continuity planning, and information security.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
