Position Overview:

The CTO will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological vision and leading the development and implementation of solutions related to business growth forecasting and revenue management.

This executive position requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scaling tech teams and infrastructure in early-stage startups, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for innovation, particularly in AI.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the company's technical strategy aligned with business goals.

- Drive innovation to keep the company at the forefront of scalable AI technologies.

Technical Development:

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of our tech platforms.

- Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and high performing.

Team Management:

- Hire, lead, and mentor a high-performing technical team.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.

Stakeholder Management:

- Work collaboratively with the product and AI leadership teams to ensure timely delivery of our short- and long-term product roadmap.

Research and Innovation:

- Stay abreast of the latest trends in scalable and distributed computing technology.

- Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to enhance our offerings and reduce computing costs.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with other executive team members to shape the company's strategic direction.

- Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to align technological initiatives with business needs.

Security and Compliance:

- Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards and best practices for data security and privacy.

Budget Management:

- Manage the technology budget, making strategic investments in technology and resources.

Qualifications:

Education

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

- 20 years of experience in technology leadership roles in a product company. Experience in startups, particularly AI-SaaS, is preferred.

- Proven track record of successfully leading the development and deployment of complex enterprise data solutions at scale.

Skills & Expertise

- A strategic thinker who can align the AI and technology roadmap with long-term business goals and product vision.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills to define KPIs, evaluate engagement metrics, and measure success.

- The CTO should anticipate future challenges, make informed decisions under uncertainty, and ensure technology choices support scalability and growth. They should also collaborate effectively with product and business teams to drive sustainable innovation.
