Chief Technology Officer

We are building a technology-first, regulator-compliant financial infrastructure that delivers private-banking-grade service across geographies.

To support our expansion, we are seeking a highly capable and entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer.

Role Overview:

The CTO will define and lead the organizations technology vision, architecture, engineering execution, and cybersecurity posture.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a regulated fintech environment, ensuring alignment with both international and Indian regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Leadership:

- Define and evolve the long-term technology roadmap and architecture

- Select and scale modern platforms, frameworks, and tools

- Build a culture of engineering excellence, security, and accountability

Product & Platform Delivery:

- Partner with business and product teams to deliver secure, scalable platforms

- Own end-to-end delivery from planning through deployment

- Drive initiatives such as .NET Framework to .NET Core migration, performance optimization, and scalability

Infrastructure & DevOps:

- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.)

- Implement CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code

- Ensure uptime, resilience, observability, and cost efficiency

Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure systems and controls meet applicable financial and technology regulations

- Coordinate penetration testing, disaster recovery, audits, and incident response

- Maintain compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and financial technology regulations

Team & Stakeholder Leadership:

- Build and scale a high-performing engineering and DevOps organization

- Represent technology in leadership, investor, and regulatory interactions

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership within regulated financial services or payments

- Experience working with financial or technology regulators in India and/or international markets

- Strong technical foundation in:

- Backend: C#, .NET Core/Framework, Web API, Microservices

- Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

- Cloud: AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Route53, ElastiCache)

- DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, financial-grade security architecture, and compliance frameworks

- Experience supporting or achieving ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar certifications

- Exposure to digital identity, payments, or financial risk systems preferred

- Proven experience hiring and scaling high-performing technology teams
