Hiring : Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

A diversified industrial groupis seeking an experienced CTO to lead multi-plant technical strategy, automation, and operational excellence. The role demands a leader who can scale technology across heavy manufacturing, drive Industry 4.0 adoption, and ensure high production reliability across units.

JD-Chief Technical Officer:

Location: Central India (multi-site leadership role)

Seniority: 15-20+ years | Leadership in steel/metals/mining preferred

What you'll lead:

- End-to-end plant operations including steel, mining & alumina processes

- Industry 4.0, automation, predictive maintenance & digital transformation

- Capex projects (- 1000 Cr scope), energy optimization & sustainability initiatives

- Multi-plant uptime, yield improvement, HSE compliance & ESG outcomes

- Smart manufacturing - SCADA, IoT, digital twins, AI-based maintenance

- Tech partnerships, vendor negotiations & long-term roadmap execution

What we're looking for:

- Degree in Metallurgy/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering (IIT/NIT preferred)

- Proven leadership in heavy manufacturing/steel/mining operations

- Expertise in process automation, furnaces, rolling mills, mining logistics

- Strong track record in plant uptime, operational cost reduction & scaling

- Ability to lead large technical teams and implement future-ready technology

This role is ideal for a visionary tech leader who can modernize legacy industrial operations into automated, high-efficiency systems and work closely with the CEO on strategic growth.
