About the Role:

V-Patrol AI is seeking a visionary and highly accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and scale our entire technical organization.

The CTO will oversee technology strategy, engineering excellence, AI innovation, cybersecurity architecture, and technical execution across all product lines.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive large-scale system design, mentor high-performance technical teams, and steer the company toward cutting-edge advancements in AI, cyber intelligence, offensive/defensive security, and large data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership & Strategy

- Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with company vision and long-term strategy.

- Lead cross-functional technical teams across AI/ML, Cybersecurity, OSINT/SOC products, Backend Engineering, and DevOps.

- Ensure V-Patrol's tech stack remains best-in-class, scalable, secure, and future-proof.

Architectural Ownership

Architect and oversee large-scale systems, including:

- Distributed backend infrastructures

- AI/ML platforms

- Data pipelines & analytics engines

- Threat intelligence ecosystems

- Offensive/defensive cyber tools

- Guarantee data security, compliance, performance, and reliability across all systems.

- Cyber & Intelligence Expertise

Provide leadership in areas of:

- Cyber threat intelligence

- Offensive/defensive security

- Malware analysis, exploit research

- AI-assisted intelligence systems

- Ensure the company maintains a world-class security posture internally and within products.

Team Leadership & Culture Building:

- Build, scale, and mentor a multi-disciplinary technical organization (engineers, analysts, researchers, architects).

- Drive a culture of innovation, ownership, accountability, and technical excellence.

- Oversee technical hiring, performance management, and succession planning.

Product Development & Delivery

- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle:

- Ideation - Architecture - Implementation - Testing - Deployment

- Ensure product delivery is on-time, secure, and meets defined SLAs.

- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Leadership teams for strategic alignment.

Research & Innovation

- Drive R&D in AI/ML, automation, cyber-offense, threat modeling, and data intelligence.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and determine adoption feasibility.

- Represent the company in high-level technical discussions, client meetings, and strategic partnerships.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Mastery (Must-Have)

- 10+ years in software engineering, cybersecurity, AI/ML, or related fields.

Deep expertise in:

- Scalable backend architecture (Python/Go/Node)

- Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Big data systems & pipelines

- AI/ML model development

- Security engineering & cyber architecture

- Strong understanding of:

- Offensive/defensive cyber tools

- Threat intelligence & malware analysis

- DevOps, SRE practices, and automation

Leadership Competencies

- Proven experience leading 30-100+ member technical teams.

- Ability to create order in ambiguity and lead through rapid scale.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and technical storytelling.

Industry Exposure

- Preferred: Experience in DefenseTech, Cybersecurity, AI, Intelligence, Government, or high-security environments.

- Bonus: Experience collaborating with armed forces, law enforcement, government agencies, or enterprise security teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, or related fields.

- Certifications like CISSP, OSCP, OSCE, AWS/Azure Architect, or ML Specialist are a plus.

- Experience building enterprise-grade products from scratch.

- Exposure to offensive security R&D and AI-enabled cyber tools.
